Bio: Bob Steinberg is President of Sage Metering, Inc., a Monterey, California
based manufacturer of thermal mass flowmeter technology founded in 2012.
Mr. Steinberg has started three successful enterprises, and has over 30 Years of
management, sales, and marketing experience in the process industry. In
addition, he has had extensive experience managing, supporting, and training
industrial representative organizations, specifically in the thermal mass
flowmeter industry.

Speaker – Kennith R. Wash, HFDP, PMP, LEED AP BD+C
Abstract: Ken will take us through the following topics/questions:

· Things to look for in the field
Bio: Ken is Director of Healthcare Sector foe Dunlap and Partners Engineers. Ken has worked in the consulting engineering profession
for twenty-nine years, with a primary disciplinary focus on mechanical (HVAC) design and engineering. He has been involved with and
has lead projects from the proposal phase through the construction administration phase. Ken has a strong background in the
healthcare market sector.
Ken holds two Applied Sciences degrees in Architecture and Civil Engineering Technology – with specializations in Architectural/Industrial
Design and Building Construction Management. He received his ASHRAE – Healthcare Facility Design Professional (HFDP) certification in
February, 2015, Project Management Institute – Project Management Professional (PMP) credential in February, 2009 and LEED AP
credential in September of 2007 and BD+C specialization in June, 2012.
Ken is a contributing author to the Professional Services Management Journal (PSMJ). PSMJ Resources, Inc. is a leading authority,
publisher, and consultant on the effective management of architecture, engineering, and construction firms.

This meeting will be a special evening event to take the place of our normal lunch meetings. This will be a “Student Night”
where we will invite all VCU ASHRAE members and honor all scholarship recipients at the VCU School of Engineering.
Abstract – Mr. Hourigan will be providing a historical perspective on the Richmond marketplace, current activity and future trends.
Bio - Founder and CEO Mark Hourigan has more than 35 years of experience in the commercial construction and real estate development
industry. His ability to understand the big picture, coupled with his keen eye for detail, consistently allow him to focus on the drivers of
success for Hourigan’s clients. Acting as a champion for innovation and fostering a consultative approach, he has instilled a discipline for
continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Mark’s commitment to developing people to their fullest potential is evident in the team he has assembled at Hourigan, as well as the
formal Mentor-Protégé relationships he has established with minority firms in the region. Growing the next generation of industry
leaders is another passion and one that has led to a role on the Advisory Board at the Virginia Tech School of Building Construction.
In this role, he serves as a guest lecturer, assists in developing curriculum, sponsors internships and provides real world experience by
integrating the students into Hourigan projects.
